How to win at Competition
This course is essential for anyone who wishes to represent Ishinryu in competition – whether in Kata or Kumite or KickMaster.
A good knowledge of the rules WILL greatly increase your chances of winning. We will also teach competition etiquette which is especially important for first-time competitors to understand.
FREE to Competitors
With just two weeks before our first ISHINRYU INVITATIONAL we’ve adapted this course to be a full dress rehearsal because we want all our competitors and officials ready for the day.

Officials – the £20 fee includes your exam and qualification as an Ishinryu Association Official. Already qualified officials attend for free (because you’ll be helping coach our new officials).
More Information
Two competition areas will be set up for this practical and very interactive course. Everyone will get a chance to Judge, Referee, as well as to score and time-keep at the table. This three hour course is open to all Ishinryu members. Students from other Karate associations are also welcome to attend.
