2025 Summer Course

Course details

The Summer Course is open to all Ishinryu students.  As an Open Course, we welcome students from other karate Associations.   All ages and all grades are welcome.

Course Timing

Saturday

09:00 Book-in
09:30 Training in Gi
11:30 Training in Gi
12:30 Lunch Break
01:30 Training in Gi
03:00 End of Day One. 

Sunday

09:00 Book-in
09:30 Training in Gi
11:30 Training in Gi
12:30 Lunch Break
01:30 General Grading (or training in Gi for those not Grading)
03:30 The Final Bow. 

Book in

We will start Book in as soon as the school gates open – this will be 9.00 a.m. at the latest.

Ishinryu members will need to check in using their Black Book licence.

Payment

Please pay in advance – ideally from this page (see the Buy Now’ button above).  If you must pay by cash, please pay your club instructor in advance.

We will take cash payments on the day if absolutely necessary, but please pay in advance if you can to help the day run smoothly.

Entry to the course

Please check in at the table outside the Dojo before entering the hall If you’ve paid in advance.

You will need to show you Ishinryu licence (black book and pink slip) to gain entry to the course.  Please check your licence in advance to ensure it is current for the day.  Remember that Licences expire on the first day of the month.

Food and Drink

Please bring water or a fruit drink with you (no fizzy drinks please).  Also bring a light snack for the lunch time break.  Food and drink is NOT available to purchase on-site – so you must bring your own.
