Ishinryu Clubs in the UK

British Ishinryu Clubs are based mainly in Essex and East London – not far from our origins in Dagenham, London in 1973.

When you join a Club that Club becomes your Home Club.  Within a calendar month of joining you must buy an annual licence.  This licence entitles you to train in any Ishinryu Dojo as well as join regular Ishinryu courses and events.

Each club within our association has their own website, and many have a Facebook Page or Facebook Group and some also maintain an Instagram and ‘X’  account.  Please use the buttons to the left to navigate directly to our various Dojos.

All Ishinryu Clubs operate independently under their senior Instructor’s.  Dojo fees may vary between clubs as well as training times and session duration; however we are all united by training to a common syllabus and in our devotion to teaching karate to a high standard.
